ON A ROLL Concord, N.C.'s own Anna Redding will be making history this April. She's been invited to participate as one of just 72 competitors in the inaugural Augusta National Women's Amateur tournament. The first women's event hosted at Augusta National Golf Club, it is scheduled for April 3-6. If Redding looks familiar, it's because you've seen her before. The UVA senior is ranked in the top 20 nationally, and won both the Carolinas Women's Amateur Championship and the Carolinas Women's Match Play Championship in 2018. She's one of five Carolina Women who will be playing in the event: other invitees include Cary's Jennifer Chang and Emilia Migliaccio, Chapel Hill's Gina Kim and Spartanburg's Natalie Srinivasan.
