The Carolinas golf community stepped up big-time and showed outstanding support for the Carolinas Golf Foundation at their recent fundraising auction: a grand total of $68,299.12 was raised as bids flowed towards exceptional opportunities, such as foursomes at Old Town Club, Biltmore Forest, Bulls Bay, Grandfather, Pinehurst No. 2, Belfair Plantation and many more special destinations. This generosity goes to support many golf-based initiatives throughout the region: Youth On Course, turfgrass research, junior golf, women's golf, First Tee Chapters and startup high school golf teams.
