CGA members will soon be able to register for the 23rd annual playing of this event at carolinasgolf.org, and event veterans and first-timers alike are encour- aged to join the field. The CGA Four-Ball Getaway is a three-day, three- round better-ball partners event that always produces a fun mid-winter competitive playing opportunity for golfers in the Carolinas. There are four divisions— Championship, Tournament, Senior and Super Sen- ior—for men and women, and teams are flighted after 36 holes by gross score within their division. The format allows participants to enjoy one round on each of Casa de Campo's highly rated Pete Dye- designed courses. Given amazing stretches of land from the Caribbean Sea and along the Chavon River, Dye created three of his best-known and most unique layouts. 24 | | FA L L 2 0 1 8 T R AV E L T ake sunny skies, warm breezes and clear Caribbean water, add one of the world's top resorts with courses from a design legend, and throw in a dash of friendly competition.
